STROLLING forth from “CityNews” palatial offices I was immediately struck by something that wasn’t there.
In the height of the school holidays, on a rare sunny day after a pretty miserable week, the merry-go-round was shuttered.
Discussion with parents has reached a consensus that it’s not a destination, it’s an indulgence if passed by, so the more restricted the hours so will go the trade.
Stuck on to an information board are the current hours of operation.
Does the merry-go-round have a future with these restricted hours?
Who can be trusted?
In a world of spin and confusion, there’s never been a more important time to support independent journalism in Canberra.
If you trust our work online and want to enforce the power of independent voices, I invite you to make a small contribution.
Every dollar of support is invested back into our journalism to help keep citynews.com.au strong and free.
