A Viking funeral for a Queanbeyan Hyundai Excel

burnout

CHARLIE last saw his Hyundai Excel at 9pm last night parked at the Queanbeyan Flats opposite the golf course.

This morning it was missing when he was heading off to work.

In the night it was dumped across the border in Beard and set alight.

ACT Fire and Rescue put it out after 4am, and ACT Policing left a message on his phone.

“It was only a 1996 Hyundai Excel worth about $500 at most but it had sentimental value and 3 hockey sticks in the boot,” Charlie said.
