Between 8am and 10am Tuesday morning, police attended to reports of theft in Canberra’s south, including $3000 worth of equipment stolen from a ute in Monash and $9000 worth of tools stolen from a ute in Richardson.

In the City, three vehicles were broken into, with sporting equipment and computers targeted.

Crime Reduction Sergeant Daryl Neit advised people to lock their vehicles and remove valuables, while business owners should install good quality CCTV systems, he said.
