Woolworths dodgy double adaptors recalled

THE Office of Regulatory Services has directed us to Woolworths’ recall notice for electrical double adapters they’ve been selling with the potential to shock users.

DEFECTS: Due to poor workmanship internal contact may occur between live parts and earth.

HAZARD: There is a risk of electric shock.

WHERE SOLD: The Chevron product was sold in BIG W stores and Woolworths Supermarkets across Australia from February 2010 to October 2014. The Essentials product was sold in Woolworths Supermarkets across Australia from January 2009 to October 2014.

ACTION REQUIRED: Consumers should stop using the double adaptors and return them to their nearest BIG W Store or, Woolworths Supermarkets store to receive a full refund. BIG W and Woolworths apologises for any inconvenience caused.
