ROADS ACT are warning that the shared path in Phillip along Yarralumla Creek is going to be closed for improvements from now until the end of August.

“The works will involve the reconstruction and realignment of the shared use path between Surprize Place and Hindmarsh Drive, as well as the construction of a new path and footbridge over Yarralumla Creek to provide pedestrian and cyclist access between Callam Street and Surprize Place,” Director of Roads ACT Tony Gill said.

“Flood mitigation walls will be installed between Surprize Place and Hindmarsh Drive to improve the safety and drainage in the area. Underground services will also be installed in the area, including a sewer main under the existing path.
