Andrew Leigh looking for community grant applications

ANDREW Leigh is looking for projects to improve the vibrancy and vitality of Canberra’s Northside.

“The Stronger Communities program offers small grants to support projects like men’s sheds, buying equipment for community centres, and building new bike paths,” Andrew said.

“Expressions of interest are open now for grants in the Stronger Communities Program.  Grants of between $5000 and $20,000 are available for small capital works projects that meet the goals of the program and can show matched contributions (in cash or in kind) on at least a dollar for dollar basis.

“Help me spread the word about this great initiative so we can help make the Northside the best it can be.

“I’m looking forward to supporting some great community building projects. Please get in touch with my office if you want to find out more about the program and make an application.
