ACT Policing arrested a 32-year-old Braddon man yesterday (Wednesday, June 17) following multiple aggravated burglaries throughout the ACT between March and June this year.
The most recent aggravated burglary occurred at the Chisholm Vikings Club in which a sum of cash was stolen and $240,000 in damage was caused to poker machines.
ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigation Crime Targeting Team members executed a search warrant on a Braddon residence yesterday where items of evidence were located and seized.
The 32-year-old man was subsequently interviewed, arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House. He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning charged with multiple offences relating to aggravated burglaries, including theft and property damage.
