CANBERRA based web hosting company GoHosting has announced they are one of the first companies across Australia to be certified to be compliant with the .au Domain Administration (auDA) Information Security Standard (ISS). This is a new industry standard for information security of web registrars.

“The auDA ISS was established in 2013, to ensure there was a uniformed standard across the web hosting industry to protect those using .au domain names and to ensure the integrity and stability of the .au domain space,” said GoHosting CEO Steve Hampson.

“This has become increasingly important in recent years with the continued growth of ecommerce and businesses reliance on their website for the growth and success of their businesses.

“Your internet presence is one of the most important tools in taking your activities to the market and ensuring this presence and the information collected is secure is our highest priority. The auDA ISS is the big tick for GoHosting to say – we are ahead of the game when it comes to security.”

To gain the certification GoHosting underwent an in-depth independent audit in September 2015 by Vectra Corporation – one of Australia’s largest and most respected Information Security companies, of its management and IT systems to ensure the operations were at the highest level of system.
