THE ACT Parks and Conservation Service is advising that four prescribed burns will take place in the ACT this week, weather permitting, at Bruce, Aranda and Jerrabomberra.
- Tomorrow, Wednesday 28 October 2015 a seven hectare prescribed burn will occur at the Gossan Hill Nature Reserve, Bruce.
- On Thursday 29 October 2015, a one hectare prescribed burn will be conducted between Araba Street and Gungahlin Drive, Aranda.
- A 13 hectare ecological burn at West Jerrabomberra Nature Reserve, near the Monaro Highway, Hume will also be conducted on Thursday 29 October 2015. A further one hectare ecological burn will be conducted on Friday 30 October, 2015 at East Jerrabomberra Nature Reserve, near Lanyon Drive Hume.
