Electrical fire evacuates Dickson College

STUDENTS from Dickson College on Phillip Avenue in Dickson have been evacuated as a result of an electrical fire in a switchboard.

ACT Fire & Rescue crews will conduct atmospheric monitoring.

About 700 students had to be evacuated from Dickson College.

No one was injured.

The damage has been confined to the electrical switchboard.

ACT Fire & Rescue crews have completed atmospheric testing and given the area the all clear.

Students have been allowed to return to school.
