A FAMILY of four and their dog escaped uninjured after a fire broke out at their home in Reid around 5pm.
They fled as ACT Fire & Rescue responded with three pumpers, and the Breathing Apparatus Van at the incident on Coranderrk Street.
Emergency Services say the the cause of the fire was an electrical fault in the roof space. The fire has been extinguished.
Crews checked the rest of the house and conducted atmospheric monitoring.
A damage bill is yet to be estimated.
