Illegal parking blues in Braddon

Geoff from Braddon has sent in these fascinating photos as well as his tale of parking woe along Braddon’s Lowanna Street.

Attached photos from today on significant illegal parking in Lowanna St (West side) and Henty St.

The cars in Lowanna St are there all day every work day in a 2 hour Zone.

The work commute vehicles have been parking on Henty St nature strip for weeks when there is parking metres away behind the Rex where they are working. The short and long term damage is never repaired.

I have contacted the Parking officers but to no effect.

Geoff from Braddon should be proud of himself.. His constant calls to the parking officers do work and they do come out on a regular basis. Most of us are poorer because of Geoff’s fantastic vigilance. Unfortunately, parking for tradespeople close to their worksite, often with materials and tools, is extremely limited in the city areas and they are forced to make these sort of arrangements. Geoff, thanks and have a great day.

Is Geoff the person who leaves rude and aggressive notes on people’s vehicles in Braddon? This person actually duct taped a note onto someone’s motorbike (which was parked on the nature strip outside their house and not in anyone’s way at all) and damaged the paint work. Whoever is leaving the notes better think twice from now on because people are keeping a very close eye out – so unless Geoff or whoever it is want to get done for damaging someone else’s property he needs to stop being such a pathetic vigilante and get a life.

Geoff can you sic the parking onto the Tent Embassy please? I’m sick of paying $60 a week to park in the Triangle and seeing up to eight cars parked next to the tents. Entitlement much?
