Kambah firebombing

ACT Policing is appealing for public assistance following an incident of property damage in Kambah this morning (Friday, October 23).

Around 2.50am this morning police responded to reports that a ‘molotov cocktail’ had been thrown through the front window of a residence in Chirnside Circuit, which caused curtains located in the lounge room to catch alight.

The fire was extinguished prior to ACT Fire and Rescue attending. No one was injured during the incident.

ACT Policing attended the scene and investigations are ongoing.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the Kambah area this morning and saw any suspicious persons or activity to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the Crime Stoppers website on act.crimestoppers.com.au and quote reference 5872384. Information can be provided anonymously. We remind people they should not report crime information via our Facebook and Twitter pages.
