“Lest We Forget” will be the final performance of the 2015 ‘beyondblue’ concert series in this, the first year of the 40+ piece wind orchestra.

Included on the program will be James Barnes’s emotional tribute to war, “Lonely Beach”, in which they say, the audience will be musically transported to the front line and exposed to ‘musical cross-fire’.

Conducted by Geoff Grey, (previously of RMC Band Duntroon), this concert will combine classical repertoire with a variety of hymnal arrangements for wind ensemble.

Also included will be “Ave Maria” by Franz Schubert, “Duke of Marlborough Fanfare” by Percy Grainger, “Eternal Father, Strong to Save” arranged by Claude T. Smith, “Pacem – A Hymn for Peace” by Robert Spittal,” Esprit de Corps” by Robert Jager and “Abide With Me – Eventide” by William H. Monk.
