Local hip hop girls make the Unearthed feature artist!

coda conduct

CANBERRA Hip hop duo Coda Conduct are continuing their dramatic ascent after being selected as this week’s feature artist on Triple J Unearthed.

The duo, consisting of members Erica and Sally, have made a name for themselves with their cheeky, fast-paced brand of humour, lively delivery and intelligent lyricism. They were recently one of the winners of Triple J Unearthed’s Groovin The Moo competition, which will see them perform in Canberra this Sunday.

Their debut EP, Butter Side Up, dropped in March. The release received national airplay, and the pair recently completed a five-stop tour to launch it across the country.

With a tongue-in-cheek sense of humour, Coda Conduct are no strangers to causing a stir. Their appearance on Triple J Breakfast to rap about Queanbeyan provoked a rap response from the mayor himself.

With momentum gathering, and new music on the way, Coda Conduct are being billed as an act to watch in 2015. They have two tracks available for free download on Triple J Unearthed, and you can find more of their music on their website.
