Mick Gentleman

MICK Gentleman says five young Canberrans have been appointed as new members of the ACT’s Youth Advisory Council.

“The Council, comprising of 15 young people from diverse backgrounds, plays a valuable role in engaging government and community to raise awareness of the aspirations, needs and concerns of young people.

“I’d like to thank the departing members of the Council and congratulate the new members. I look forward to working with them in the future.”

The new members are:

  • Polly Campbell;
  • Yuri Arnould;
  • Ari Warrington;
  • Rachel Alley-Freeman; and
  • Emma Bentley.

The new members were selected by a panel, assessing their understanding of youth issues, communication skills and leadership qualities.

The appointments are for a two year term. For more information visit youth.act.gov.au
