Police investigating Hawker College fire

ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious fire that occurred in Hawker early this morning (Tuesday, 16 June).

About 5am, police attended Hawker College, Murranji Street, Hawker in relation to reports that a shed was on fire. The fire was quickly brought under control by firefighters from the ACT Fire and Rescue and deemed as suspicious.

No damage was sustained to any other buildings within the college.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
