An unusual and terse statement just in from ACT Health:
ACT Health can confirm that ACTEWAGL representatives are onsite at Canberra Hospital attending to some electrical issues with a switchboard.
At this stage, there is minimal impact on hospital operations and patient care or safety have not been compromised in any way.
Canberra Hospital and Health Services has well-tested contingency procedures in place for such situations.
An Emergency Control Centre has been establsihed [sic] within the hospital as a contingency measure.
You will be updated on developments on a regular basis.
UPDATE: The all clear has been sounded:
The electrical issue at Canberra Hospital has been resolved. The hospital has returned to main power and the Code Yellow has been stood down.
