THE ACT Government is advising motorists and other road users of some closures to rural roads today following reports of snow and ice.
Rural roads closed in the ACT include:
- Corin Road at Square Rock car park
- Mount Franklin Road at Piccadilly Circus
- Bendora Road.
The dirt sections of Brindabella Road and Boboyan Road are open to four wheel drive vehicles only.
Gates will be locked at some of these locations and will be opened when conditions improve and become safer.
Warning signs are being put in place to alert motorists to snow and ice on roads. Roads ACT will monitor the roads and further closures may be necessary.
Motorists are advised to adjust their driving to suit the weather conditions.
