puppy

RSPCA ACT Inspectors are asking the public for help on a brutal case.

Today, nine puppies of approximately 5 weeks old were located in a box near Kingsford Smith Drive in Higgins.

The puppies were brought into RSPCA Weston where they were examined.

One of the puppies had horrific head injuries and had to be euthanized immediately.

This puppy was struck by an unknown object which crushed his skull.

If you have any information in relation to this incident, please contact RSPCA ACT Senior Inspector Catherine Croatto right away on 0408 421 255.

This is absolutely horrific. Canberra is a small community, someone must know who has done this. Do you have a neighbour that had pups now doesn’t? Any suspicions are worth reporting to catch scum like this. What about the mother? What have they done with her? People like this won’t stop at animals. If you don’t care about animals, surely you will care when they graduate to killing people?

Yes, there is something sick and perverted about a person who would be capable of doing this to defenceless creatures. No excuse is acceptable and if any of us know people like this and do nothing, then we are also to blame. All of us need to take a stand and show that animals matter and cruelty must end.
