Stabbing at the Stuart Flats

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to find a man who was involved in an altercation in Griffith this evening, (Tuesday, 24 November).

About 5.15pm, a man was allegedly stabbed at Stuart Flats near the car port at the rear of the building.

He was treated at the scene for multiple stab wounds by ACT Ambulance Service and transported to The Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.

The male offender is described as being approximately 30-years-old, Caucasian, 180-185cm tall (5’11” – 6’1”), with black hair and a solid build. He was wearing blue jeans and a light blue t-shirt.

He was last seen running in the direction of Evans Crescent and Canberra Avenue in Griffith.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen a man matching this description to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
