ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious death of a man in Wanniassa this evening (Tuesday, March 10).
Police were called to a home in Wanniassa for a check welfare around 7pm this evening. Responding patrols arrived about 7.05pm and upon forcing entry to the home located a deceased 61-year-old man within the residence.
A 68-year-old invalid woman was located in a bedroom of the home, uninjured. ACT Ambulance Service attended and conveyed the woman to hospital for observation.
Police have cordoned off McWhae Cicrcuit while investigations are underway.
A brief for the Coroner will be prepared.
