The Thai Food & Cultural Festival coming back in 2015

THE Royal Thai Embassy has announced they’re holding the Thai Food & Cultural Festival 2015 on September 27.

There will be Thai food stalls from local restaurants, Thai products and handicrafts, cultural performances, Muay Thai, a tourism showcase, a wishing pond, as well as fun and games.

The Festival will also include stalls to raise awareness and funds for charities.

This year’s Festival aims to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the four main regions of Thailand through decorations, cultural performances, folk music and activities. The event is also a part of the “Windows to the World” Embassy program in Canberra. Free shuttle buses will be provided by “Windows to the World” from Civic and Floriade to the Embassy.

The festival will take place at the Royal Thai Embassy, 111 Empire Circuit, Yarralumla, on Sunday 27th September 2015 from 10.30am – 5.00pm.
