ACT Policing has released a face-fit of the offender involved in an indecent act in Belconnen on Thursday (June 25).
Between 11am and 11.30am, a woman was walking her baby in a pram along Diddams Close, Belconnen. As she approached the playground near Lake Ginninderra she was grabbed and attacked from behind by an unknown man, who then fled the scene on foot.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his mid to late 30s, around 5’9” – 5’10” (175-178cm) tall, tanned complexion, dark brown eyes with short brown hair and unshaven beard.
He was wearing a black hoodie with white logo on right chest side, black shirt, grey beanie, black track pants, black shoes and white soles.
Police are urging anyone with information who can assist in identifying the man or who saw someone answering to this description around Lake Ginninderra to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously. Police remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter pages.
