Woman and child burned in Red Hill disturbance

AROUND 9:40am this morning, ACT Policing responded to an incident in La Perouse Street, Red Hill.

Police were called to attend the house after reports of a disturbance and a house fire. ACT Fire & Rescue attended the location to extinguish a fire.

Two people, a woman and young child have been conveyed to hospital with critical burn injuries.

There are no ongoing public safety concerns in relation to this incident.

A crime scene has been established with a number of road blocks in place.
