Monash fire suspicious

ACT Policing is treating a house fire at a residence in Monash yesterday (Thursday, 31 March) as suspicious.

About 2.10pm police attended a residence in Kneeshaw Street, Monash after reports of a fire.

ACT Fire and Rescue attended and extinguished the fire. There was substantial damage to the house.

AFP Forensic Services will work with ACT Criminal Investigations to determine the cause of the fire.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information on the cause of the fire to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au and provide reference number 5941911. Information can be provided anonymously.

Police remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter pages.
