Adina Cirson set to lead the Property Council

LABOR government apparatchik Adina Cirson is reportedly to be the incoming new executive director of the ACT Property Council of Australia.

Adina Cirson... off to the Property Council.
Adina Cirson… off to the Property Council.
Cirson is currently chief of staff in Mick Gentleman’s office, where his portfolios include Planning and Land Management, and Urban Renewal.

Cirson, who describes herself on Facebook – among other things – as a “feminist, wife, mother and leftie”, was once named in the field vying to replace Kate Lundy when she retired from the Senate.

Cirson has been with Gentleman since August 2014. Before that she worked in then-Chief Minister Kate Gallagher’s office as communications director (2011-2014). And had worked as a policy adviser to then-Chief Minister Jon Stanhope and in Senator Lundy’s office.

She holds a Bachelor of Communications (public relations) with a major in politics from the University of Canberra and last year  completed a Master of Juris Doctor, Postgraduate Law.
