TOMORROW will mark 50 years since the historic Battle of Long Tan in Vietnam.

A special commemorative service will be held at the Australian Vietnam Forces National Memorial on ANZAC Parade in Canberra at 10.00am.

The service will feature a flyover of aircraft from the Vietnam era including a:

  • US Air Force B-52 bomber
  • C-130
  • Caribou,
  • DC3
  • UH-1 Iroquois
  • Sioux
  • Cessna 0-2
  • Cessna Bird Dog

For most Australians this will be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see this collection of aircraft flying in one location. There are two flyovers planned, each with different aircraft on display, these are scheduled for approximately 10.00am and 10.55am.

Read up just what the wonderful B52s did to the poor people of LOAS,CAMBODIA. The USA spent millions per day bombing these beautiful places. Today they give 3 million per year to help remove millions of mines it will take hundreds of years before the last one is removed. GOD FORGIVE THE GOOD OLD USA !!!
