ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious package located inside the Belconnen Mall today, Monday 19 September 2016.
The Belconnen Mall has been evacuated as a precaution whilst we assess the veracity of the threat.
Please avoid the area whilst this assessment is undertaken. An update will be provided as any further developments come to light.
UPDATE: Police have given the all clear:
In regards to the suspicious package found in Belconnen Mall today, ACT Policing can confirm that there is no threat to public safety.
Investigations are ongoing and Belconnen Mall has resumed trading as usual.
