CANBERRA FM Radio Content Director Jason Matthews says Canberra has a new number 1 FM Breakfast Show with Hit104.7’s Ryan & Tanya taking the position in just 6 months, they also claim the most listeners in Breakfast according to the GfK radio survey results released today.
“MIX 106.3 enjoys the most listeners across the day and is number 1 with 40-54 year olds,” Jason said.
“Hit104.7’s Hamish & Andy are Number 1 for the drive home and the station is also Number 1 with all listeners under 40.
“Our 2 brands are dominating the market and also in their targeted demographics which is very pleasing.
“This is the just the start for Ryan & Tanya, they are brightest new stars of Australian radio and we’re spoilt to wake-up and hear them each day in Canberra.”

- 2CC up all people 10+ 0.4% to 7.6%
- 2CA up all people 10+ 1.3% to 6.8%
- 2CC Breakfast with Tim Shaw up all people 10+ 0.5% to 6.8%
- 2CA Breakfast with Frank Vincent up all people 10+ 0.7% to 4.9%
- 2CC Mornings with Ray Hadley up all people 10+ 1.8% to 12.5%
- 2CC Mornings with Alan Jones up 1.3% all people 10+ to 11.8%
- 2CA Mornings with Marc McCreadie up 2.3% all people 10+ to 8.5%
- 2CA Drive with Robbo up 1.4% to 7.3%

ABC 666 was the winner with 15% but closely followed by Hit 104.7 with 14.7% and Mix 106.3 14.6%.
The landscape was a little different in the coveted breakfast timeslot with the ABC a clear winner on 21.8%, followed by Hit on 12.8% and 2RN with 12.1%.
ABC666 Mornings are also worth a mention up 1% to 15.6%, taking out that slot.
