IN a striking example of the speed of gentrification no sooner do the Currong Flats come down than the grocery duopoly ventures back to Canberra’s heart.

Where once Supabarn was the go-to grocery for inner city residents now Coles has taken over that space in the Canberra Centre.

After a booming few weeks the Civic Aldi should at least now return to sanity.
