Cricket fans ride the bus for free tomorrow

FOR the “One Day International” between Australia and New Zealand at Manuka Oval tomorrow (December 6) attendees can hop on ACTION bus services for free. bus

Minister for Transport and City Services Meegan Fitzharris says:“Bus passengers simply have to show the driver their paper ticket, mobile ticket or member’s card to receive free travel on any ACTION bus all day on Tuesday.

Buses from platform 10 in Woden and platform 11 at the City bus station will be leaving regularly from 11.55am until 2pm. Travellers can also take the regular ACTION Manuka bus services to the game on routes four and five.

“Taking free bus travel to the cricket is a convenient way of enjoying a day out at the cricket,” Minister Fitzharris says. 

“With limited parking around the venue, it is also a hassle-free way of getting to the game and also getting home.”

Gates at Manuka Oval open from 1pm and the game commences at 2.20pm.
