THE WIN Network has announced an agreement with the TEN Network for program supply to its regional Australian viewers.

WIN and the TEN Network have agreed to a five-year program supply agreement which will see the WIN Network carry some of Australia’s favourite programs in a deal that will bring mutual benefit to the networks.

WIN Network CEO Andrew Lancaster said the new agreement would give WIN viewers some of Australia’s best programs, noting it is an exciting time to be carrying TEN’s program schedule.

“We are excited to be bringing most of Australia’s Logie winning programs to regional Australia exclusively in HD,” Andrew said.

“WIN will now give viewers Gogglebox Australia, The Project, KFC Big Bash League, The Living Room and Family Feud along with international hits like Madam Secretary, NCIS and Modern Family.

“In addition to the aforementioned programs, we are going to deliver the V8 supercars, rugby internationals, Formula One, MasterChef Australia, Offspring and Australian versions of Survivor, The Bachelor and The Bachelorette to WIN viewers.

“I’d like to personally thank TEN’s CEO Paul Anderson and Chair David Gordon for their approach in what is an historic change for viewers of the WIN Network in regional Australia.

Mr Lancaster says the affiliation with TEN will not affect the network’s commitment to delivering news to its viewers.

“There has been so much written about the future of news, both in regional and metropolitan areas. WIN’s commitment to news is stronger than ever. WIN produces 16 half hour news bulletins and an hour-long All Australia News bulletin each weeknight. No other network matches that. Combined with the talent, experience and resources in the TEN newsrooms across Australia, viewers will see comprehensive news coverage at local, state, national and international level,” he said.

“WIN’s commitment to local regional news continues. It is something we are proud of and is at the heart of the WIN Network. TEN have been supportive of our desire to ensure regional Australia continues to have local

regional news each weeknight and we look forward to working with TEN in providing news supply beyond the WIN News audiences especially when news breaks in regional Australia.”

The WIN Network’s program supply from the TEN Network commences on July 1, 2016. Viewers will not need to rescan their television to access the exciting new programming on WIN.
