Don’t be alarmed by strange noises from the Carillon

THE National Capital Authority (NCA) is advising the community that audio testing will shortly commence at the National Carillon as part of the recently announced upgrade works.

Various sounds will be intermittently heard projected from the Carillon over the lake during the testing period, from late Tuesday afternoon, 30 August until Friday, 2 September 2016 between 9 am and 5 pm.

The Audio upgrade is one of the many works being undertaken by the NCA as part of the project to bring new life to the 46-year-old lakeside structure. For more information on the upgrade, please visit nationalcapital.gov.au.
