Facefit released in Carville murder investigation

ACT Policing has released a facefit image of a man in the investigation into the murder of Evatt man Andrew Carville.

Last week police conducted a public appeal for information regarding a man walking north along Sutton Road, Majura and east along Norton Road, Wamboin between 4 and 5 November 2015.

Following information provided by witnesses, a facefit has been released of a man seen on Sutton Road and Norton Road in the early morning of 5 November.

Police are appealing for anyone who sighted this man in the vicinity of the following locations:

  • Sproule Circuit, Evatt on 4 November 2015,
  • Sutton Road, Majura on 13 and 14 November 2015, and
  • Molonglo Gorge, Kowen Pine Forest on 13 and 14 November 2015.

The man is described as being between 25 and 30 years of age, between 180 and 186cm tall (5’11’’ to 6’1”), of a solid build, with an olive complexion, short black hair, brown eyes and dark eyebrows.

If you recognise this man, or saw this man in the vicinity of the above locations, we urge you to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

Police remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter pages.
