Garage ablaze in Richardson

TWO fire pumpers, breathing apparatus support and a hazmat unit were activated to fight a garage fire in Beattie Crescent, Richardson, this morning. 

fire brigadeThe blaze was in a garage attached to the home and was quickly brought under control.

There was no damage to the house and hazmat crews ventilated and monitored air quality before allowing the unharmed residents to return to their home. 

The cause is unknown.
