LOCAL hip-hop duo, Coda Conduct, have just released a new track called ‘Click Clack (Front N Back)’ and an accompanying video clip.
The duo, Erica Mallett and Sally Coleman tell us the track is “a celebration of the male booty,” and goes along with with a clip that features one of Sydney’s best male dance crews, a cameo from Triple J presenter Matt Okine, and “plenty of visual puns and references”.
“I guess that ‘Click Clack ‘is all about giving men their time to shine in hip hop. It’s too often that women’s booties steal the limelight,” says Mallett, “so we thought it was about time someone gave a little love to the underappreciated fine form of the male backside.”
The beat was produced by Newcastle beat-maker Jayteehazard, who has worked with the Hilltop Hoods, Briggs, Urthboy and The Funkoars. Recording and mixing is by Simon Cohen at 301 Studios.
With a subtle interplay of sassiness and impeccable rapping, Click Clack (Front N Back) is guaranteed to make listeners grin, think, and ultimately, get their booties low.
