Man assisting police with their enquiries over Higgins dog baiting

higgins dog poisoner

ACT Policing have had a breakthrough in relation to last week’s dog baiting incident in Higgins.

On 13 April, police were called to a residence in Higgins after reports that CCTV footage captured a man throwing an item into a backyard about 5am that morning. Meat covered in a green chemical substance was located in the backyard. Fortunately, the dogs at the location did not ingest the substance and were not harmed.

A man is now assisting police with their enquiries and investigations are continuing.

ACT Policing thanks the community and the media for their assistance.
