Marymead takes over Autism Asperger ACT

Marymead

THE Boards of both Autism Asperger ACT (AAACT) and Marymead, signed an Agreement last night stating that Marymead will continue to deliver the services of AAACT.

“These services have been available to over 2,000 members of our community in the ACT and surrounding region for a number of years and it is important that these valued services continue to support individuals and families,” a spokeperson for Marymead said.

“Marymead has been providing community services for almost 50 years and has a long history of assisting people with disabilities, including those with Autism and Asperger diagnoses.

“Marymead has a strong commitment to the local community and will work towards ensuring that the AAACT services are continued through the establishment of an Autism Centre at Marymead’s Narrabundah site.

“Marymead values any feedback in regards to the merger and ensures a smooth transition of services. For information relating to the Autism Centre at Marymead please phone 61625800.”
