Motorcyclist death takes toll to 10

A MOTORCYCLIST died at the scene of a collision on Tidbinbilla Road this afternoon (Sunday, November 6).

policePolice, ambulance and fire and rescue services responded to calls for help at about 11.55am, but were unable to save the male rider, who died of his injuries at the scene of the single-vehicle accident.

He is the tenth person to have died on ACT roads this year.

The police Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team is examining the circumstances surrounding the collision and will report to the coroner.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have any information that could help police, to call 131 444 or 1800 333000.
