DRUGS were the focus for ACT police over the weekend, who witnessed six illegal drug related activities including the seizure of 52 capsules on Saturday (November 26).
Police confiscated the pills, which are suspected to be MDMA, in a carpark in the city.
As a result of the weekend, two people will be ordered to face court and four people will complete drug diversion education programs.
Officer-in-charge of City Station, acting station sergeant Craig Faram, says: “RTT (Regional Targeting Team) are out on patrol every weekend targeting anti-social behaviour and illicit drug activity. Police want everyone to have a fun night out, but we ask that you do so safely and responsibly.”
