ACT police are seeking public assistance to find 27-year-old Gary Gordon (pictured) who was last seen at 3am, December 9.
Mr Gordon is described by police as being about 189cm tall, with a heavy build and short brown hair. Police believe he may be wearing blue knee length shorts and one white sock.
Police hold concerns for his welfare and have been conducting a search throughout the day alongside Australian Federal Police’s Search and Rescue team.
A police spokesperson says: “Mr Gordon was in custody for charges relating to minor theft. While Mr Gordon’s offences are non-violent, we advise the public to call police if they know his whereabouts rather than approach him.”
