Police stumble upon man with knife

POLICE were on patrol in Curtin on Saturday (December 3) night when they stumbled across a man with a covered face, wearing dark clothing and carrying a knife. police car

ACT police were driving down Theodore Street at around 9pm when they noticed the man leave a car opposite the Statesman Hotel.

When the male noticed the police lights he got back into the car where there was a driver who sped off towards Hughes.

The man is described as tall, slim build, approximately 180cm and was wearing dark clothing and a balaclava.

The driver was wearing a dark hooded jumper and his face was covered with a black cloth.

The vehicle is described as a white 4WD dual cab vehicle.
