Security guard beaten up at Gungahlin Lakes

ACT Policing is seeking to identify an offender following an assault at the Gungahlin Lakes Club on Monday 25 March 2016.

About 1.25am, two males were denied entry at the Club by a security guard. The security guard was then assaulted by the two males.

One of the males was restrained however the other fled on foot.

The male that police wish to identify is described as in his late teens to early twenties, with a dark complexion and facial hair. He was wearing a light coloured jumper with black writing and light coloured pants.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident, can identify the offender or have any information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

Police remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter pages.
