Serious injuries from melee at the bus interchange

TWO men were seriously injured during a fight involving about 10 men, described as being between two groups,  at the Woden Bus Interchange on Wednesday night (November 30).

policeWhen police arrived at the scene at 7.50pm, they found one man unconscious with head injuries.  He was treated at the scene before being taken by ambulance to Canberra Hospital. A second man who sustained serious injuries also ended up in hospital.

Police are appealing to any members of the public who may have witnessed the fight or recorded it on their phones.

Anyone with information that could assist police is urged to call 1800 333000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
