CANBERRA’S Big Boys Toys Expo is back returning in 2016. It will be held this year on August 20 and 21, at Exhibition Park in Canberra.

Expo Director Steve Rohan-Jones says this year’s event is even bigger and better, with many new experiences and over 60 exhibitors on offer.

“It’s a two day highly interactive event that really is the ultimate playground for big boys, and girls of course, to see, touch, experience and buy all the toys, tools, gizmos, gadgets, sports and hobbies they’ve always dreamed of.

“In 2016, Big Boys Toys will be spread across 50% bigger area than last year.

“This year there will be many new attractions, two new pavilions and much more happening outside including competitions, presentations, demonstrations, workshops, activities and amusement rides.

“Visitors to the expo can check out interesting and highly interactive exhibits with the addition of the new ‘Technology and Remote Control’ and ‘Sports and Fitness’ Pavilions sure to impress. The expo will feature everything from planes, boats, motorbikes and cars, to camping and leisure, sports and fitness, , tools, beer and wine, interactive robots, 3D printing, remote control displays and demos, martial arts, pinball and arcade games.

“Tickets to the expo are on sale now, and all tickets purchased online receive pre-show discounted prices. Single day tickets are available now at only $15 for adults (save $5), or at the Mates’ Rates deal of 4 tickets for the price of 3 (save $15.) Family single pass online is $40 (save $15.)

“In 2016 there’s also three separately ticketed events which we know the crowds are going to love – The National Robowars Championship, ‘Rates your Mates’ rally car experience, and 3D printing workshops.

“The expo, which was first held in Canberra in 2015, was a first for the East Coast of Australia, and was highly successful last year over 9000 visitors through the doors over the two days. We hope to build on this success in 2016, and look forward to seeing the crowds roll in for what will once again be an awesome family day out for Canberrans and visitors who just love their big toys,” Steve concluded.

Big Boys Toys Expo is on 20-21 August 2016 at Exhibition Park in Canberra. For more information and to buy your tickets online and save, visit bigboystoyscanberra.com.au
