A NEW Westpac branch with Smart ATMs opened its doors at the Majura Park Shopping Centre this morning.

Canberra Airport Head of Property Richard Snow said Westpac would join Costco, Woolworths, Big W, and more than 30 specialty stores, ahead of Aldi opening next month.

“To have Westpac as one of the ‘big four’ banks choose Majura Park shows great confidence in our offering,” Richard said.

“This is the first in a string of new tenants to call Majura Park home over the coming months, with the next being global supermarket retailer Aldi which will open in August.

“A key focus for us is to make sure that we have the right services to meet the growing demands and expectations of our retail customers as well as more than 10,000 resident office workers across the Canberra Airport precinct.

“With Majura Park customer numbers currently at 2.3 million annually and a growth rate of four per cent year on year, the arrival of Westpac will be a significant pillar to securing continued growth into the future. We are delighted to welcome Westpac to Majura Park.”
