Aggravated carjacking in Florey last night

 A WOMAN surrendered her car to a knife-wielding man at Florey shops around 9.30 last night.

The victim had entered her vehicle when approached by a man and a woman. Police say the offenders demanded she get out of the car and she refused.

The female offender assaulted the victim through the car window and attempted to remove the keys from the vehicle. The male then produced a knife and the victim complied with their demands. The offenders then fled in the vehicle, a 2005, four-door, red Mazda SP3, with ACT licence plates YME25V.

The male offender is described as aged in his mid 20s, of slim build, with dark brown short hair with a rat’s-tail and a tattoo on his neck. He was wearing a white, hooded jumper with black writing and black trackpants.

The female offender is described as aged in her early to mid 20s, about 165cm (5’5”) tall, of solid build, with dark brown hair tied in a bun. She was wearing a purple/blue, hooded jumper and black track pants.

Police say anyone seeing the car should not approach the vehicle or its occupants, but call 131 444.
