Driver ‘pushed’ out of car and robbed

A DRIVER has been pushed out of a car and the passenger dragged out during an aggravated robbery in Harrison this morning (September 21).

The victims were sitting in a car, with the keys in the ignition, on Windjana Street, at about 1am, when they were approached.

A man, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was grabbed and dragged out of the car by an unknown man. The offender then went to the drivers’ side, opened the door and told the female driver to get out of the car. She was pushed out of the way before the offender got into the car and drove away.

The unknown man is described as Caucasian in appearance, of thin build, about 185-190cm tall with long black hair. He was wearing a black jumper.

Two other men were standing nearby beside a dark coloured sedan during the robbery, and after followed the stolen car.

The only description, so far, of the men in the sedan is they looked as though they are aged in their teens.

Nobody was injured during the incident.

Police urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website using reference  number 6154380.
