Duplication starts of Coppins Crossing Road

WORK has started on the duplication of 900 metres of the Coppins Crossing Road south from William Hovell Drive towards the Molonglo Valley.

The $33 million project, which also includes a new 600mm water main, is the first stage of an infrastructure package to accommodate future land releases in Molonglo Stage 3. The road works will include an upgrade to the intersection with William Hovell Drive.

The newly duplicated section of road is to be renamed to become the northern end of John Gorton Drive.
